WORKSHOPS – The 2016 festival fundraiser weekend featured workshops with our guest artists: flamenco guitar with Holly Blazina, and flamenco song and dance with Stephanie Pedraza.
PERFORMANCE – Flamenco at the AGA – November 26, 2016
Our 2nd annual fundraiser performance took place in the Art Gallery of Alberta’s lower level Ledcor Theatre. An evening of live flamenco featuring:

The following local dancers surprised the audience with our Festival Flashmob at the end of the show: Carmen Locke, Cat Moores, Mariam Djalili, Jolene Yuen-Jung, and Susan MacGregor.

Patrons were invited to join us in the lobby at 7:30 for an informal lesson in clapping Flamenco rhythms.
Proceeds from this fundraising event went towards supporting the Edmonton Flamenco Festival in March 2017. A special thank you to Stephanie Pedraza who donated her artist fee for this performance to the Festival.
