April 21 – 22. Our 2018 festival featured workshops in song and dance with our International guest artists at the studios of our sponsor MarrMac Dance. Students came from Edmonton, and Calgary to attend.

Weekend workshops April 21 & 22 – flamenco dance and song
Intro/Beginner level
Dancers should have a minimum of 4 classes of flamenco experience. NOTE the Tangos baile class is not open to Int/Adv level students.
Baile – Tangos – Irene la Sentío – 1 hr
Cante por tangos – all levels – José El Pechuguita – 1 hr
Beginner/Intermediate level
Beginner dancers should have a minimum of 2 years experience.
Choreography – Tientos – Irene la Sentío – 3 hrs
Cante por tangos – all levels – José El Pechuguita – 1 hr
Cante por bulerías – all levels – Quini de Jerez – 1 hr
Intermediate/Advanced level
Intermediate dancers should have a minimum of 4 years experience. Please be aware we anticipate quite a few high level dancers coming in from out of town. Intermediate/Advanced Edmonton dancers may find the workshop levels higher than they are used to.
